This may seem like a horrible thing to say but listen up! Watch this video and then give me your thoughts. Does it make sense? Government isn’t the answer…They are the problem.
A art gallery in Scotland has taken art to a whole new level. They have put a Bible on display and encouraged all of those that feel “left out” of the Bible should write themselves in. Of course, those that chose to deface the Bible do so in a mature, intellectual manner, right? Ummm, no. As you would guess most of the comments are harsh, lude, and overall inappropriate for any public conversation.
In the United States your right to take these actions are protected under that ever elusive document that I reference in my Blog so often. You know, the Constitution? This is taking place in Scotland but it matters to us here because it is a sign of the times to come.
The progressives/intellectual leftards here in the United States seem to think that we need to be more like Europe. Of course, they ignore the fact that many of the immigrants that live in the US, past and present, came here to ESCAPE Europe. Why would we want to become them?
This clearly shows a pattern that hate and what are being referred to hate crimes these days don’t apply when it comes to Christians. Imagine, if you will, if this was a Koran on display. The museum would be burned to the ground by Islamic radicals throughout Great Britian. Protests, news coverage, the whole nine yards.
While I support a person’s right to deface the Bible I don’t support the actions. This is a sign of a larger problem that has taken over Europe and is quickly gaining ground here in the United States. Hate and hate crimes are wrong…unless you are hating God and his followers.
Senator Bachmann (R-MN) asks both the Fed Chairman and the Secretary of the Treasury hard questions about where in the Constitution they have the authority to take their unprecendented actions during the bailouts. The shocked look on their faces would be humorous if it weren’t for the obvious truth that they really don’t have an answer. But how could they? They don’t have the Constitutional authority.
Alaska has passed a state sovereignty bill that states the following:
“Be it resolved that the Alaska State Legislature hereby claims sovereignty for the state under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the Constitution of the United States.
Be it further resolved that this resolution serves as Notice and Demand to the federal government to cease and desist, effective immediately, mandates that are beyond the scope of these constitutionally delegated powers.”
(Click the picture for the associated article) This is an important move by Alaska and its Governor who have decided that the Federal Government is over reaching its Constitutional authority. If the Fed continues to pass legislation that has associated monetary policies, they are telling the states how to do business.
What does that mean? Let me explain. When our “leaders” passed the myriad bailouts they attached certain monies for the states for specific social programs of their choosing. Now, you could argue that is was a good thing but here is the problem: The states are left holding the bag when the stimulus money goes away. Get it? Take South Carolina: They take the money and increase the amount of money that qualifying personnel get in their state. The bail out is good for 2 years. What happens after 2 years? The checks decrease if South Carolina doesn’t fund the increases.
The Federal Government does not have the authority to direct state budgets. Read the Constitution folks. It may not be around for much longer.

House Resolution 1018
I just heard about House Resolution 1018. America! Wake Up! This is vital to you and me and this legislation needed to be passed right now. And the great thing about it was that we, the people, get the benefits of this great act for a bargain price: $700 Million. That’s right, its not even a Billion Dollars so no big deal.
What? What did you ask? What is the bill for? Well, it is the American Mustang Act. We, the people, need wild mustang horses so our Representatives have dedicated $700 Million of our tax dollars for land, food and yes….wait for it….Horse CONTRACEPTIVES!!!
Google it. We are funding horse Contraceptives! Thank God for our representatives. What would we do without them? AHHHHHHH!!!!!!
