In case you missed it, The Obama administration was pushing a measure that would have required combat wounded veterans to pay for their medical expenses through private insurance. Thats right. If you VOLUNTEERED to serve your country and had the unfortunate luck to be wounded in Combat, President Obama thought it was appropriate that you pay for your own medical treatment.
Fortunately, this measure has been dropped do to a large outcry from the public. I still have issues with this though. The Socialist Leftards want everyone to have FREE medical care provided by the Federal Gubment with the exception of Veterans?! What?! Give me your tired, weak, illegal immigrants but you Veterans are on your own.
I question the loyalty and critical thinking of a President and his Leftard Legions that think the way to give the poor masses a hand up is by cutting Veteran’s medical benefits. I really want some enlightened liberals to comment on this blog and tell me how this makes any sense what so ever.

To answer your question, Rohm Emanuel (sp?) is running the White House and the country. Obama has neither the experience nor the ability to run anything short of a campaign. He’s good at that, that’s why he’s still doing it. Now, as to whether Rohm and Joe Biden are coming up with these brilliant ideas on their own or taking marching orders from someone else, hard to say.
With-in a few months it won’t really matter anyway.

I was appalled that this was even a proposal. Some of these men & women don’t even have private insurance. And like stated, the current administration is for “universal” medical care for everyone but the Veterans who voluntarily risks their lives for that “freedom”? WHAT???
When I heard this announced in the morning news, I went immediately to the computer to research it. By that afternoon, the outcries were so loud & forceful, it was shut down & “shelved” for another rainy day. THANK GOD!
Obama was under the impression that this proposal would save millions of dollars while at the same token he signs bills spending trillions. Senseless! Completely senseless!
My only question is…where are all these people & outcries against the rest of the injustices being done with this administration?
Simply unbelievable…Pelsoi is out talking about how we should embraces illegals and provide for their needs, but the men and women in uniform who have been injured protection this country must fend for themselves…boy howdy…this country is being turned up on its head!

The other story to this was Michelle Obama’s epiphany at the realities of military family life she experienced – reported the same day this vet health care story surfaced. She admitted having no clue about military life until now!
