Many radio listeners that grew up in the 70-80’s like I did can fondly remember stopping what you were doing to listen to Paul Harvey’s “The Rest of the Story.”  If you aren’t familiar with this program you have truly missed out.  Sadly Paul Harvey died today at the ripe age of 90.  Take a moment and listen to some old episodes of this great program Mr. Harvey, you will be missed.

You know, I’m all for conserving and taking care of the environment but come on!?  ”Our” collective need for soft toilet paper is apparently destroying our environment.  What about all of those people who drive SUV’s and have emergency kits in the back with soft toilet paper in the them.  Oh dear God, NO!!!!

If this is as big of a problem that the article claims it to be then the Government needs to take action.  Where is the outcry for the toilet paper industry?  Where?  Why has this not been addressed in the “Stimulus” package?  Wait a minute…Maybe it was and it just hasn’t been found yet. Everyone knows that none of our so called leaders in Washington have actually read it.  Does the TP industry have lobbyists?  

As for me and my family….”Give me Soft Toilet Paper or Give me Death!”

Anyone not following what is happening in Mexico is doing a grave injustice to their understanding of what is happening in their world.  This is only a small portion of the impending fall of Mexico as a State.  Another news article indicated that 5000 Mexican troops are headed to Juarez to fight the Drug cartels that have taken over this border town.  Can the US withstand a failed Mexican State?  If you think there is trouble on the border now, anarchy is coming if they fall.

I’m sure that she is an independent woman and all of the ties to the Middle East that her husband has, coupled with the millions of dollars that they both receive doesn’t impact her point of few.  I mean really, millions of dollars doesn’t sway peoples opinions or influence them, right?

Apparently some of our military folks are having doubts about their newly elected Commander in Chief.  I think there is some silly little document called the Constitution that outlines the requirements for elected officials.  I blogged about this before.  Why doesn’t he just show us the paperwork.  If he was born in Hawaii, great, we move on.  If he wasn’t, I can think of no greater crime that can be commented on the American people.  Produce the paperwork.  It is as simple as that.  We don’t want our military members having to take the matter into their own hands.
