So, this is going to be interesting.  I came across this just now on the Drudge Report and it says that it is going to air tonight at 2300 EST.  I’m looking for it online and hopefully will be able to put the video up soon.  More to follow on this later.

The blatant disrespect that some Americans have shown to President Bush is staggering.  If you don’t believe this YouTube the inauguration when President Bush was Boo’ed and jeered by large portions of the crowd.  I wish I could have been there to ask those people some questions:  For example, are you glad that the United States wasn’t attacked in the last 7 years?  Do you think we were just lucky or is there a chance that the policies that President Bush put in place protected us and kept us from being attacked again?  The article below is one of many that details how many of the Leftards out there are demanding that President Bush be prosecuted for war crimes.  I doubt any of these leftist idiots truly knows what it takes to fight a war and yet still find themselves qualified to demand such actions.  A more appropriate response should be a Thank You for the former President for keeping them safe and enabling them to act like complete idiots.  Any bets on if you will ever hear that from them?  Anyone, anyone?  Point made.

If you have never read any of Thomas Sowell’s writings you are truly missing out.  By clicking on the picture to the left you can read an example of his works as he discusses the idea of “Land for Peace” in the Middle East.  Anyone that follows Israeli relations knows that most of the enlightened left believe that Israel should give parts of their country away in order to have an everlasting peace in the Middle East.  This has never worked and yet the UN and other leftard organizations continue to demand that Israel give up even more.  (See Southern Lebanon as an example)  I think this is ridiculous and Mr. Sowell does a superb job of explaining why.  Read this article and check out the archives on this great writer.  You won’t be disappointed. 

So This is Democracy?

Whenever Israel decides to take action against the terrorist attacks against its country, the enlightened liberals of the world come running with the argument that HAMAS is democratically elected and if you support Israel you aren’t pro-democracy.  I am hard pressed to think of a more acenigned argument but they could probably come up with something if I allowed the leftards to continue there rant.  The very small portion of HAMAS that represents their so called political arm is anything but democratic.  They used terrorist tactics to remove Fatah from power and will do anything to remain in power.  As I have said before, the do not nor will they ever truly represent the Palestinian people.  It is about power folks, pure and simple.

The attached article highlights what HAMAS truly is: terrorists.  They have begun to roundup Fatah members as collaborators with Israel during the recent fighting in Gaza.  They used these same tactics during the so called democratic elections that brought them to power as well.  I have said it before and I will say it again:  A duck is a duck is a duck.  HAMAS may claim to be representing the Palestinians but their actions reaffirm they are nothing but terrorists thugs.   Israel should continue to fight them until they have permanently removed this scum from their country.

President Obama signed an Executive Order this week that stated that GITMO will be shut-down in the next year.  Of course, there is no plan in place to deal with the prisoners that are already there, it was just the President doing his political duty to the leftards that demanded that GITMO be shut down.  I have already Blogged about the need for GITMO to stay open and the recidivism of many of the terrorists that were released to their home countries so I will not discuss it more, however, the article below offers more proof that closing GITMO down is wrong and will only lead to more American deaths.  When will the leftards learn?
